Daniel Evans is a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA) and professional accountant based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He's a graduate of Canisius University in Buffalo, New York, earning dual B.S. degrees in Accounting and Accounting Information Systems.
Following college, Mr. Evans was recruited by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, where he served the people of New York as an Income Tax Field Agent. His focus was directed at issues of state residency, C-Corporations and flow-through entities. Daniel traveled the United States, from coast-to-coast, reviewing the records of hundreds of businesses and individuals, building meaningful relations between private Americans and their government.
Mr. Evans established a reputation for impeccable service, and attention-to-detail, with an extensive hospitality career. This includes roles with: Marriott, Hilton, Seneca Gaming Corporation, and Wynn Resorts. Most notably, Daniel served as a Hotel Manager of the 4,700 room Wynn/Encore Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Intent on combining 20 years of taxation, accounting, and hospitality "know-how" into a business, Silver Mountain Tax Consulting was founded in 2019.
